SoPYC invites members from any WA yacht club to attend:
Dr Helga Weaving is giving a talk on First Aid for Boaties. On Monday February 11 at 6.30pm at South of Perth Yacht Club.
Dr Weaving is one of the Emergency Doctors at Fiona Stanley Hospital. She is also an accomplished yachtie with many miles under her belt including Offshore Blue Water Races.
Some of the topics that can be addressed are seasickness, giving injections, and injuries related to sailing.
For those considering the Fremantle to Bali Race this would be an excellent session to attend.
